VeNe and futuremellon/not yet art present in Palermo 'Capitale della Cultura 2018' a short screendance preview specially curated for ‘ConFormazioni. Festival Di Danza e Linguaggi Contemporanei’ that this year revolves around MEMORY. 

 

Screendance proposes a new artwork and simultaneously an archiving of a gesture happened in the past. Although the invited artists do not deal directly with the theme of memory, they have selected to create works through the medium of the screen. This is a replayable medium and an 'aide-memoire' that captures a moment in time, and movement as a representation or as a thought is more than essential.

 

The invited works will be presented under the name [SET.mefree] PREVIEW as a collateral event during Festival ConFormazioni. They will be screened on the evenings of Thursday 26th, Friday 27th, Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th of April in Museo Riso and Piccolo Teatro Patafisico.
